Are non-occupant co- borrowers allowed under Back to Work guidelines?

The occupying borrower(s) must meet the eligibility requirements for Back to Work and the alternative guidance may be utilized to qualify the occupying borrower.  A non-occupant co-borrower (non-household member) is allowed; however, Back to Work alternative guidance may not be utilized to qualify the non-occupant co- borrower; standard underwriting guidelines must be applied to the non-occupant borrower.
